Weather in Cuba and best time to visit
Cuba has a tropical climate that ensures hot days almost throughout the year, with daytime temperatures between 25 and 34 degrees. Therefore it is an ideal place if you’re looking to escape from the cold and enjoy the sun and warm.
Weather in Cuba – Summer
The summer months are very hot and very humid. That is between June and September. During these days you can find sunny days and in the evening very often the sky is filled with clouds and download a downpour at once, just like if the world was to end. However at the end of the raining, everything returns to normal and it is almust certain that the sun will be back shining again. 🙂
During the months of September to November the season of tropical storms, cyclones and hurricanes begins. Around 1 or 2 hurricane attack Cuba every year generally affecting the eastern part of the island.
Weather in Cuba – Winter
Winter in Cuba is very soft and for some may be even hot, with temperatures of 25-26 degrees. In coastal areas where the wind blows you cold feel perhaps a little bit colder, but still it is an ideal season to visit he island during this period.
Due to the high intensity of the sun it is very recommended to wear sunglasses all the time, as well as sun protection to prevent skin burns.
Even when you walk in winter with a cloudy sky, the ultraviolet index is very high compared for example to the south of Europe in summer!
The months with most rainy days are between June and October. Of course there are exceptions, for example this year 2016 during the month of January, it rained so much that even were floods and storm surges in Havana.
The highest temperatures are recorded between May and October and the lowest between December and February.
You get throughout the year more or less the same amount of sun hours per day: 7 to 8 hours.

Given the weather conditions certainly the best time is between December and April.
But this season is precisely the high season in Cuba and this means: more difficulty to rent a car, to find accommodation, there are more tourists in the country, higher prices of fly tickets, etc.
June, July and August are also high season in Cuba.
It all depends on the personal situation of each person: holiday at work, school holidays, etc., but with the information I have just given you, you can surely find the best time to go and have a great holiday in my country.
