The city of Benny, a famous singer of our history. A charming seaside town recognized and named as “The Pearl of the South” with a nautical on cozy environment for lovers of diving, which includes an extensive reef area where a few columns are formed of coral called “Notre Dame” that give you a chance to see and explore a beautiful underwater depths. Sailing, canoeing and kayaking are other activities for which you can enjoy in this region, due to its peacefull waters.
The city holds a group of architectural buildings which were declared as “World Heritage by Unesco”.
Sites to visits:
♦ Castle of Jagua. Fortress built to protect Cienfuegos of threats of pirates.
♦ Cienfuegos Club. Site where you will find a variety of yachts, and which you can use.
♦El Nicho. A true wonder of nature, dozens of waterfalls and natural ponds in a landscape untouched, hidden among the mountains.
♦ Dolfinarium. Here you can enjoy a magnificent show of dolphins, and if you like you can swim with them.
♦ Palace del Valle. With a variety of styles of the era is one of the architectural treasures of Cienfuegos. Its construction cost one and a half million pesos and began in 1913 and was finished just four years later.
♦ Rancho Luna beach. An excellent place for divers.
