Andar La Habana
In Havana there are many things to see and to do. A city full of history, buildings with colonial arquitecture, museums, parks, squares, etc. Is the most important colonial city in Latin America and it is the capital of Cuba. It is a city with many to discover and therefore you could spend many hours finding new interesting attractions.
Discover the squares, go through the city in a cocotaxi or bicitaxi, or even beter, in an oldtimer from the years 50's. You may want to sit in a corner in one of the many terraces while you listen to live salsa music, enjoying a “Bucanero” - “Cristal” (Cuban beers), or a “Mojito” - “Daiquirí”. Walk with the sunset through the “Malecón” just like Cubans do, Let yourself be carried away by its people and watch a unique sunset, surrounded by a fantastic view including Havana Bay, Morro and the Christus statue.

Day 1. Arrival to Havana
Depending of your flight schedule you should land in the afternoon or evening at International airport of Havana. It will be there already our driver with an oldtimer waiting for you to pick you up and take you to the city center, where you will be accommodated in a very confortable appartment. Since the very first day you will enter in contact with the Cubans daily life. Once you leave your personal belongings at the room I suggest you go out to meet Havana by night and sit down on a terrace to enjoy your first typical Cuban drink while you listen latin music and watch many oldtimers running everywhere. Welcome to Cuba!!!
Day 2. Andar La Habana
If you like history and arquitecture, today will be a perfect day for you. Early morning and after your breakfast, wear confortable shoes, do not forget your camera, and walk around Habana Vieja (Old Havana).
There are plenty of places to visit, but I think these ones you should not miss: “La Plaza de Armas” (Weapons Square) surrounded by very old Spanish castles and forts from 4 centuries ago, “Plaza de la Catedral” (Cathedral Square), the most famous Cathedral from all Latin America where the rests of our discoverer Christopher Columbus guarded, and the “Plaza Vieja” (Old Square), with its german arquitecture from 1906. Very near to these squares is located the very famous Bar “La Bodeguita del Medio”, a typical Cuban place which has been visited by many famous people from the whole World and where is offered the famous drink “Mojito”. Also do not miss a walk through “Obispo” street, the busiest street of Havana, with many shops and bars. At the end of the street when you go direction Capitolio, you will find el Bar “Floridita”. Here is served the also very famous drink “Daiquirí” the favorite drink of the famous writer Ernest Hemingway, while listening Cuban music.
Day 3. Go back in time to the year 50's and discover Havana on a classic American oldtimer.
There is still many to discover from this majestic city. After the breakfast you will go for a tour to the modern Havana in an American classic oldtimer and this tour will last about 3 hours. During this period of time we will show the main attractions the modern Havana has to offer and you will have the opportunity to visit some turistic places such as:
“La Plaza de la Revolución” (Revolution Square), where you will see the surrounded emblematic buildings since 1954 (and as option, you could go up to the viewpoint of the square. From here you a have a great view of all Havana, entrance aprox. 4 CUC), “Columbus Cemetery”: here is the best preserved collection of funeral art from America and where rest in peace famous personalities like the author of the music piece “Guantanamera”, and a survivor of Titanic, among others.
You will visit also Vedado neighboorhood where the famous “Focsa”, “Riviera” and “Habana Libre” hotels are located, as well as the “Rampa Habanera”, the busiest place of the city. Then you will continue the tour besides the “Malecón Habanero”, a wall at the edge of the avenue and through the Havana Bay with an aprox. lenght of 8kms where air and harmony can not be compared. It is also known as the coach of Vedado, because it is the chosen place for many Cubans to meet and get together. This trip will end up at the Capitolio of Havana, the “White House” of Cuba, where you will be able to take as many pictures as you want and bring back home good remembrances with you.
Day 4. Going out of Havana
Once you finish your breakfast it is time to continue your holidays and discover the authentic Cuba. If you are a nature and quiteness lover, then the western of the Island, where the largest nature from Cuba is located and where grows the best cigars of the World, it should be your best choice. Visit to Finca Vigia Hemingway Museum

This museum is located on the outskirts of the city. You will be brought to the museum in an old American oldtimer. The museum is to be the house where lived the famous writer Enerst Hemingway, where are still many of his belongings such as his yacht “Pilar”. Visit to the Castle of the 3 Reyes Magos del Morro and the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña

To the other side of Havana Bay it is found the “Castle of the 3 Reyes Magos del Morro” and the “Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña”, both designed and built to protect the entrance to the bay against pirates during the Colonization Years. The “Castle of the 3 Reyes del Morro” has lighthouse to guide the ships entering the bay. There is the possibility to visit the light house which has a viewpoint with a beatiful sight of Havana. Go up this viewer is optional and the price of the entrance is not included. You can also visit during this excursion the viewer of “Cristo de La Habana”.
